My first AI, Qwen

I’m late to AI, but that has changed in the last few weeks. How did I end up with Qwen?

My web browser, Brave, has a built-in AI feature. It lets me pick from a menu.

The default AI in Brave is Qwen, but it quickly hit a productivity limit. But, if I log into Qwen on my desktop, or download an app, it is much more useful. It kept working on one thread that I started for four hours, summarising whenever I asked. While it can state wacky things, if you feed in better prompts, it comes up with relevant stuff.

Qwen?

Qwen is owned by Ali Baba, the world’s biggest online wholesaler based in China.

It alerted me to what was causing my health issues, and explained all my questions about the length of symptoms and why I needed to be cautious with what I ate and how I exercised for a few weeks.

I’m generally sceptical about new technology, but I hope Qwen sticks around with the free option.
