The Great Discontent | Alistair Humpheys

If you ever need to look for inspiration when your creativity is in a lull there’s always The Great Discontent, a website that interviews creative people about their journey.

This week’s interview is with someone slightly different, Alastair Humphreys, who is not so much an illustrator or web guru, but someone who takes the idea of journey more literally, and to its logical extreme. His recent video about crossing 1000 miles of the Arabian Desert on foot gives a good idea about his work.

Alistair’s idea of the micro-adventure is pretty compelling, no excuse to not get out there, even if it’s just for a night.
