The office
In the meantime, my office has been almost finished.
The old king single bed of Doug, my father, has finally been moved into the office.
But my original queen bed was like sleeping on a marshmallow, so it was therefore given away when my flatmate Vincent tired of its springs. And I bought a new Queen-size replacement for myself in what is now solely a bedroom.
I’m just working out what to do with my two printers now. Might as well tidy up the desk properly.
The old family living room sideboard, more than 50 years old, had been on Trade Me but hadn’t sold. To be honest, it looks better from a distance.
It has been one of the sculptures I’ve displayed in the living room for the past three years. I’d had the hot water cylinder for over a year to replace the original from 1981. Eventually, the switch was made.
In a fit of brilliance, I realised the sideboard would fit perfectly into the office and could accommodate the two printers.
Yay!!
The storage capacity would be useful for the various printer inks, various cables, and all the paper.
It’s been busy at work. Spring is usually my most prolific time of the year, but I’m slowly getting my house in order.
